DIRAS Spices Required
DIRAS Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp, DIRAS Coriander Powder – 1.5 tsp, DIRAS Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Ingredients
200g paneer cubes
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, pureed
1 tbsp oil or ghee
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
Salt to taste
2 tbsp cream or malai optional
Fresh coriander for garnish
Method
Heat oil and add cumin seeds. Let them crackle for 10–15 seconds.
Add onion and cook for 5–6 minutes until golden.
Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
Add tomato puree and salt. Cook for 6–7 minutes until oil starts separating.
Add DIRAS Turmeric Powder, DIRAS Coriander Powder and DIRAS Red Chilli Powder. Cook for 1 minute on low flame.
Add paneer and 1/4 cup water. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add cream if using, mix gently and cook for 1 minute.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
Garnishing: Finish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
